Design & Development Enhancements
Variable Modes for Faster Theme Management
One of the coolest updates is Variable Modes, which lets you create and switch between sets of design variables across your site. It makes responsive design, theming, and scaling your design system easier.

Shared Libraries Now Support Background Video, Search, and More
Webflow has expanded Shared Libraries to include components that use Background Video or Search elements, along with assets, variables, and other reusable elements.
This update makes reusing complex, interactive components across sites easier while maintaining design consistency.

Enhanced Assets Panel
The new Assets Panel is here to make your life easier. Organize, replace, and compress assets through a handy three-dot menu — just like managing components and variables.
Style Control for Code Blocks
You can now style all your <pre>
tags right in Webflow’s Designer — no more extra CSS — just clean, easy control over your code block formatting.
AI-Powered Innovations
AI Site Builder
Say hello to Webflow's new AI Site Builder. It helps you go from a simple prompt to a complete design system and site in minutes. It's in beta, so now's the time if you haven’t tried it.

AI Writing Assistant
Need to tweak your content? Webflow's AI Writing Assistant lets you adjust tone, length, clarity, and more right on the canvas. It’s perfect for quick edits without breaking your workflow.

Interactions & Animations
GSAP is Now 100% Free + New Enhancements
In a major move for the web animation community, Webflow announced that GSAP (GreenSock Animation Platform) is now 100% free — for everyone, Webflow user or not. This includes full access to previously paid Club plugins and an expanded license allowing commercial use at no cost.
Alongside this update, Webflow has:
- Rebuilt GSAP’s SplitText plugin from the ground up, cutting its file size by 50%, adding accessibility, and improving masking features for dynamic reveal animations.
- Integrated GSAP more seamlessly into Webflow, allowing users to toggle GSAP Core and plugins right from Site Settings.
- Enabled custom code previews for GSAP animations, so you can now test your interactions in preview mode before publishing.
This announcement marks a new chapter in Webflow’s animation tools — and it’s just the beginning. Want to see GSAP in action? Check out the flavor animation in our Tigris Drinks Webflow Template.

Animated flavor UI built with GSAP: The hover animation for this flavor selector was created by Silv Templates using GSAP, adding playful motion to each fruit icon in Webflow. Explore Webflow’s official GSAP announcement →

Performance & Website Management Updates
Per Page JavaScript Loading
Webflow now loads only the JavaScript each page needs, thanks to Per Page JavaScript. This upgrade means faster load times and a smoother experience for your visitors.
Bandwidth Add-ons for Business Plans
Growing fast? Business plans can now scale up to 2.5 TB of bandwidth, so your site can keep up without a hitch.
Enterprise Features for Larger Teams
Custom User Roles
With custom roles, you can fine-tune what each team member can do — like who can publish, update the design system, and more.

Custom Roles lets you build tailored permissions for each team member based on their responsibilities — ideal for teams with designers, marketers, editors, and reviewers. You start with a base role (like Designer or Content Editor) and toggle individual permissions such as publishing rights, component access, or the ability to make unapproved changes.
Examples include:
- Letting a junior designer publish only to staging, not production
- Allowing a content editor to publish CMS items but not full sites
- Creating roles where marketing updates must go through approval first
From the Webflow dashboard, Enterprise Workspace owners and admins can create up to 20 custom roles. Roles can be edited, deleted, and reassigned at both the Workspace and site level, with all changes updating automatically for assigned users.
Custom roles entirely replace older Enterprise-specific roles like "limited designer" or "designer (needs approval)." Any existing roles or toggles will convert to matching custom roles automatically.
Webflow Optimize Improvements
Webflow Optimize now supports CMS pages in redirect tests, giving users more flexibility when testing content variations. You can now select CMS collection items as the origin or destination page in redirect-based A/B tests.
This enhancement enables Optimize customers to:
- Test different versions of individual CMS items (like blog posts, landing pages, or product entries)
- Personalize which CMS item will be shown to different site visitors

Additionally, Webflow Optimize now includes full redirect testing capabilities. This enhancement allows you to split incoming traffic on a specific page and send a portion of users to a completely different page.
Redirect variations are especially useful for:
- Testing full-page redesigns
- Sending specific audiences to unique landing pages
- Avoiding conflicts with existing page elements or scripts when testing significant changes
It’s a powerful new tool for data-driven experimentation on dynamic content. Enterprise users can dive deeper into site performance with Optimize Overview Pages, custom URL parameters, and better reporting tools.
Localization Draft Control
Need more control over localized pages? You can now set individual static pages to draft in different locales before publishing them.
CMS Delivery APIs
Webflow also launches Dedicated CMS Delivery APIs to extend your CMS data across different platforms and experiences more easily.
Figma Integration & New Apps
Improved Figma Sync
Webflow’s latest plugin update makes syncing from Figma faster and more accurate, making it even easier to sync components, sections, variables, and styles between Figma and Webflow.
This update means you can now bring full design systems directly from Figma into Webflow — complete with clean HTML and CSS, responsive components, and SEO-optimized markup — all in just a few clicks.

New Apps in the Webflow Marketplace
Check out new marketplace apps like Visual Electric, Triple Checker, Stripe, Smartling, Shift Station, and Clay. More tools, more possibilities.
Marketing & Client Tools Enhancements
Advanced Marketer Page Building
Marketers now have more flexibility. Start with a template or build a page from scratch, and tweak components and content directly from the side panel. Quick edits = faster launches.
New Client Payment & Transfer Tools
Freelancers and agencies, rejoice! You can now accept client payments and transfer sites more easily without messing up site ownership or billing.
At Silv Studio, we’re especially excited about these tools, as they make managing client projects and scaling brands much smoother and more efficient.
Partner Program Updates
New Opportunities for Agencies and Freelancers
Webflow’s Partner Program keeps getting better. You can now earn points for community contributions, renewals, awards, and more. Plus, partnerships with Contra, Dribbble, and Upwork help you get discovered by even more clients.
